Frequently asked questions about company formation
What will you need from me?
Just the basics to start: the proposed business name, registered office, business activities and the details of shareholders and directors. We send you the exact list after the consultation – most of the paperwork we can prepare ourselves.
Is a limited company or a trade licence better for me?
It depends on your expected income, business risk and future plans. At the consultation we compare contributions, the tax burden, liability and admin of both forms and recommend the one that works out better for your plan.
Can a limited company be set up remotely?
Yes – the whole process runs electronically. You sign the documents with a chip-enabled ID card or at a notary in your own town; there is no need to visit us in person.
When do I have to register for VAT?
Registration is compulsory once you exceed the statutory turnover over 12 consecutive months; you can register voluntarily sooner if your purchases carry VAT or you trade within the EU. When we set the company up, we check which option works out better for you.
Can you help with changes in an existing company?
Yes – changes of registered office, directors or business activities and transfers of ownership interests are prepared and registered end to end, just like the formation itself.
