Financial management and an external CFO

Management reporting, cash flow and a financial strategy that supports the growth of your business – without the cost of an in-house CFO.

What we take care of

Accounting tells you what happened – financial management tells you what to do next. We prepare regular management reporting for you: clear statements, margins by product or cost centre and the indicators that actually matter, in the Bilvao app and in a form the whole management team understands.

We watch over your cash flow – planning income and expenses, warning you about periods when cash will be tight, and helping set payment terms and financing so growth doesn't catch you off guard.

For bigger decisions we act as your external finance director: we prepare the budget and forecast, evaluate an investment or a loan, and give you the materials that hold up in front of a bank or an investor – without the cost of an in-house CFO.

Why entrust your financial management to us

  • Numbers you understand - We translate reports from accounting jargon into decisions – clear and to the point.
  • Cash flow under control - You know about tight periods in advance, not when payroll money runs short.
  • External CFO at a fraction of the cost - A finance director's experience without the cost of a full-time hire.
  • Built on your books - Reporting runs straight off the accounting data – no extra manual spreadsheets.

Frequently asked questions about financial management

What size of company is the service for?

From small firms with a few employees upwards – precisely those who cannot afford an in-house finance director, yet who make the same decisions about investment and growth. We scale the service to the size of your company.

How often will I receive reporting?

Most commonly monthly, once the books are processed. The key indicators, however, are visible in our app continuously, and we tune the frequency and depth of the reports to your needs.

What do you need from me to get started?

Access to your accounting data, a list of the questions you want answered, and an hour of your time for the initial analysis. The rest – the report structure, the indicators, the frequency – we design ourselves.

Do I need to have my bookkeeping with you too?

It's not a requirement, but it is an advantage – the reporting then runs directly on the data we process, without delays or duplication. We can also build on books kept elsewhere.

Will you prepare materials for a bank or an investor?

Yes – a financial plan, a forecast, a cash-flow analysis and your numbers presented in the structure banks and investors expect. We can be there with you at the meeting.

What exactly is an external CFO?

An experienced finance professional working for you part-time: preparing decision materials, talking to the bank, watching the budget and cash flow. You gain CFO expertise without the cost of a permanent employee.

What is the difference between management reporting and the financial statements?

The financial statements are a statutory filing for the state, drawn up once a year in accounting format. Management reporting is for you – monthly, broken down by product and cost centre, with the indicators you actually run a company on.
